Thomas and I finally got round to making some car cakes! They're an orange sponge decorated with writing icing and pic'a'mix. The only problems seemed to be the 'hump' that needed cutting off the baked cars to make them sit flat; and the fact that it takes so very long to decorate them that the enthusiasm wore off somewhat about half way through all the cakes. And finally, the burn i gave Thomas putting the pan on his arm when he was dislodging a cake. Other than that they were great! Here's a few pictures:
